This Privacy Policy describes how AI Book Generator ("we", "us", operator of aibookgenerator.net) collects, uses and protects your information when you use the AI Book Generator mobile application (the "App"). The App and the website share the same account system: the same policy principles apply to both.

1. Information we collect

• Account information: your name, email address and password (stored in encrypted/hashed form). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from your Google account. We never see or store your Google password.
• Content you create: the book titles, descriptions, chapters, key points, texts and cover images you create or generate with the App are stored on our servers so you can access them from any device.
• Purchase information: if you buy a subscription or credits, the payment is processed entirely by Google Play (in the App) or by Stripe (on the website). We do not receive or store your card details. We store only the information needed to activate your purchase (product purchased, purchase token, subscription status) and your credit balance.
• Technical information: basic technical data needed to operate the service, such as the app version (used to check for updates) and standard server logs (IP address, request time) kept for security purposes.

We do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos or files, and the App contains no advertising or advertising trackers.

2. How we use your information

• To create and manage your account and let you sign in;
• To generate, store and display your books and covers;
• To process your text prompts through AI providers (see section 3) in order to generate book content and cover images;
• To manage your credits, subscriptions and purchases;
• To send you service emails (account verification codes, password reset). We do not send marketing emails without your consent;
• To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.

3. Third-party services

To provide the service, we share the minimum necessary data with these processors:

• AI providers (OpenAI and image-generation providers): the book details and texts you submit for generation are sent to AI services to produce the requested content. They are used to generate your content, not to build advertising profiles.
• Google Play Billing: processes in-app payments and subscriptions.
• Stripe: processes payments made on our website.
• Google Sign-In: optional login method.
• Brevo: delivers our service emails (verification codes, password reset).

We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

4. Data retention

Your account data and the content you create are kept for as long as your account exists, so that your books remain available to you. Server security logs are kept for a limited time.

5. Deleting your account and data

You can request the deletion of your account and all associated data (books, chapters, covers, credits) at any time by contacting us at aibookgenerator@gmail.com from the email address linked to your account. 6. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data: encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and authenticated access to your content. No system is 100% secure, but we work to keep your data safe.

7. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location (including under the GDPR if you are in the European Union), you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at aibookgenerator@gmail.com.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will always reflect the latest version. Significant changes will be communicated within the App or by email.
